NIESC and NWIESC are excited to offer a 4 part series for instructional leaders based on Jim Knight’s Impact Cycle, providing schools with an intentional time to support those who partner with teachers to set goals, support their instructional strategies, and provide feedback.

Participants Will Explore:

  • Fostering powerful improvements in teaching
  • Cognitive Coaching principles (explore the thinking behind classroom practices)
  • Three primary conversations: Planning, Reflection, and Planning
  • A variety of coaching models
  • John Hattie’s 10 Mindframes and 16 personality types
  • Two highly-rated books (linked below)

The Details:

  • Audience: Instructional Leaders, including principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, curriculum directors
  • Location: In person at Indiana Wesleyan, Merrillville, IN
  • Dates: Feb. 16, 17, and May 4, 5, 8:30-3:30 CST

Cost: $450 for members and $550 for non-members- includes four days of training, the Leadership Behavioral Inventory ($31), two books Impact Cycle and 10 Mindframes ($60)

Event Cancellation Policy

NIESC Cancellation Policy

Registrants who notify NIESC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.

  • Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but one week before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop, will pay 50% of the registration fee.
  • Registrants who neglect to call or notify NIESC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full registration fee.
  • On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees
