Join us for “Cafeteria Staff Day Out #4!!”

Your cafeteria staff will gain their annual 4 hours of training at this one day event!  Our keynote speaker, Jon Colby is sure to engage, train, and provide some fun for the participants!  We will have multiple break-out sessions on cafeteria subjects to provide the highest level of training as well as a giant, food expo-ALL WITH A FUN HAWAIIAN LUAU THEM!!

Take the time to talk to food brokers one on one and sample items to improve your school menus!

Register early as this session fills up with more than 300 participants a year! Door prizes galore!!  Collaboration, team building, and fun!!

About our keynote speaker: 
Jon Colby has been empowering people with improv since 1998. From presenting to performing, his engaging, interactive approach has successfully helped audiences across the globe to be better communicators, leaders, teammates, salespeople, doctors, and even friends and family members. As a graduate from the world-famous Second City Conservatory comedy program and an educator with 15 years of classroom experience, he is able to keep an audience laughing while sharing practical knowledge that they can put to use right away.  You don’t just listen to him speak, you play.

The basic rules of improv deal with finding agreement, listening, leading by empowering others, making choices, and celebrating those choices. These same attributes can improve productivity, increase retention, build stronger leaders and teams, boost creativity, and encourage employees and clients to feel more valued. This interactive keynote will give participants an entertaining opportunity to grow in a safe environment and walk away with valuable skills that can be put to use immediately.

Event Cancellation Policy

NIESC Cancellation Policy

Registrants who notify NIESC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.

  • Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but one week before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop, will pay 50% of the registration fee.
  • Registrants who neglect to call or notify NIESC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full registration fee.
  • On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees
