Description:

You can’t turn on the news today without hearing about AI. Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere. It’s not only on the news; it’s in every classroom, every home, and every business.

After digging into AI as a concept, this workshop will explore how teachers can be intentional in adding AI to their existing curriculum and lessons helping their students learn to safely navigate this exciting, new frontier of computer science. Educators will have the opportunity to explore not only AI as a learning tool for themselves, but will work in collaborative groups to integrate AI through AI using computer science.

By the end of the workshop, teachers will have a strong understanding of how to adequately bring dedicated AI content to their students while being part of a strong collaborative of like-minded educators.

Target Audience:

  • 9-12 Educators
  • Instructional Coaches
  • Technology Coaches
  • High School Administrators

Special Instructions:

*Location:  Park at the Calumet High School Football Field, enter the gates and find the conference center in the building on the right side.
