Description:

As there has been a lot of buzz around the area of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education, I invite you to learn more about how AI can be used to streamline your administrative work through integrating these tools into your daily routines. I have two sessions scheduled for you to explore what integrating AI into the classroom looks like for both your teachers and students. These sessions will be led by Dr. Mike Langevin and Beau Scott of EES Innovation. During these sessions, they will talk you through practical applications of AI use, moving beyond the theoretical and ethical discussions that have thus far dominated much of the conversation in the educational field. The overall goal and messaging of these sessions is that we need to look for ways to embrace and embed AI into the field of education and not ban it. In addition to this, Mike and Beau will share information with you regarding two of their new initiatives, School Leader Ai, and the Ai Infused Classroom.

Event Cancellation Policy

NIESC Cancellation Policy

Registrants who notify NIESC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.

  • Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but one week before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop, will pay 50% of the registration fee.
  • Registrants who neglect to call or notify NIESC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full registration fee.
  • On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees
