First Session: RADON TRAINING
This 2 hour workshop meets the state requirements and covers the basics on radon, including:
Radon, health effects, radon in media, where radon is found, how radon enters buildings, what happens after radon enters buildings, radon regulations, testing for radon, data interpretation, managing radon in buildings, sources of information
Second Session: Asbestos Training
This session will meet the 2 hour AHERA training requirements for Asbestos Awareness. Certifications will be given upon completion of this course.
Our speaker is Kent Shadley, CHMM. Kent is Vice President, Field Services at Alliance Environmental Group. Kent is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, licensed asbestos inspector, licensed asbestos management planner, a certified lead renovator. He has over 40 years of experience in the environmental field.

Asbestos Refresher
11:45 AM – 1:45 PM CST
