Indoor Air Quality Training/Asbestos Refresher Training

Region 8 is offering this one-day training for all Indoor Air Quality Coordinators!   All Maintenance staff and Administrators are encouraged to attend.  This is an introduction level training open to everyone but is tailored for School Indoor Air Coordinators or those with little background in IAQ.  This session will help you review and/or develop the required IAQ policies and procedures.   According to 410 IAC 33 all schools, both public and private, are required to have an individual designated as their Indoor Air Coordinator.

Part II Asbestos Refresher: This segment will meet the 2 hour AHERA training requirements for Asbestos Awareness. Certifications will be given for this refresher course.

*Lunch is not included in the event and is on your own during the lunch break.

NIESC Cancellation Policy

Registrants who notify NIESC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.

  • Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but one week before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop, will pay 50% of the registration fee.
  • Registrants who neglect to call or notify NIESC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full registration fee.
  • On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees
