Description:

This session will focus on the Math section of the SAT Assessment. We will discuss both the Math Test – Calculator and Math Test – No Calculator. How many questions, types of questions will be discussed, and time for each question will be explained. Tricks and Tips that will be extremely helpful to students to improve scores while taking the SAT Assessment Math section will be shown and explained. Specific topics covered on the SAT Assessment Math section will be presented and how those topics align with the Indiana Academic Standards for Mathematics. How this section of the SAT Assessment is scored and the scoring targets students need to reach will be explained. We will also talk about what students need to do to increase their scores. Finally, there will be time to ask questions and share ideas to help students with the SAT Assessment Math Section

Grades 9 – 12 math teachers, and administrators

NIESC Cancellation Policy

Registrants who notify NIESC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.

  • Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but one week before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop, will pay 50% of the registration fee.
  • Registrants who neglect to call or notify NIESC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full registration fee.
  • On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees
