This session will focus on the Writing and Language Test which is part of the Evidenced-Based Reading and Writing section of the SAT Assessment. How many passages, types of questions will be discussed, and time for each of the passages will be explained. Tricks and Tips that will be extremely helpful to students to improve scores while taking the SAT Assessment Writing and Language Test will be shown and explained. Specific topics covered on the SAT Assessment Writing and Language Test will be presented along with resources teachers can use to help teach these topics will be presented. Strategies to achieve the best possible score will be discussed. How this section of the SAT Assessment is scored and the scoring targets students need to reach will be explained. We will also talk about what students need to do to increase their scores. Finally, there will be time to ask questions and share ideas to help students with the SAT Assessment Writing and Language Test.
