Tom McFarland
Business Manager

Tom McFarland is the Business Manager at Triton School Corporation. He has been with the corporation for 9 years but has been a Business Manager for 21 years.

In the last year, he has spent most of his time on financial oversight. The things that he has focused most on are making sure that money is allocated correctly based on state requirements, avoiding the ESSER-cliff, and allocating bond proceeds to fund small projects across the buildings.

Tom hopes that Triton can retain the respect and pride that they have earned throughout the community that they represent. They are reputed for their academics, athletics, and creating successful and respectful citizens in their community.

We asked Tom what he finds rewarding about his position. He shared, “After completing a task or project, seeing the reactions of the students, staff, and community and knowing that I assisted in making it happen. For a small school, to have the facilities that Triton has instills pride throughout our students, staff and community."

In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with his sons. He has two, one is 17 and the other is 14. They are both involved in football, basketball, and baseball. Most of his evenings and weekends are spent attending their games. When he gets a chance, he loves to spend time outdoors either hunting or fishing.
