Have you heard of the Indiana Learning Lab? Learning Lab offers many opportunities for resources, workshops, a live help desk, and ways to earn Professional Growth Points.

There is also something NEW for administrators called the District Admin Feature. This new tool allows administrators to send notifications to teachers, create private resources and collections, and run reports to track resource completion. If you are a leader at your school corporation, explore the following resources to learn more about how you can begin using this feature:

Jeff Reed

Jeff Reed is the Superintendent at Prairie Heights Community Schools and has been with the corporation for 16 years.  We asked Jeff what some of his dreams or goals for Prairie Heights would be. He shared, “I would like to have our own preschool, and I would love for all special education programming to be housed at Prairie Heights so all of our students could attend here during the day instead of being transported to other districts.”

Jeff finds being a part of a small district beneficial because it allows him to be more involved in day-to-day operations across the corporation. Although he can feel stretched at times, he finds it rewarding to be able to work closely and interact with many different people. It provides him an opportunity to ensure that students have an excellent experience at Prairie Heights.

In his spare time, Jeff likes to try living a very boring life at home with his family!
