E-Rate
The FCC’s E-Rate program provides discounts for internet access and internal connections from the Universal Service Fund. Northern Indiana ESC has offered member districts the opportunity to benefit from consulting and filing services from individuals with educational technology experience, e-rate planning and training on USAC’s filing process and requirements. - Complete E-Rate category 1 & 2 form filings and response to inquiries

2020-2021 E-Rate Facts
- NIESC filed for over $500,000 in funding for member districts
- 2021-2022 starts a new 5-year funding period
- Category 2 funding will be district wide, no longer by building
- Equipment may move as needed without a waiting period
- Funding available will not decrease if your ADM count decreases
- Funding available could increase if your ADM count increases
